Greetings all James Richard Families. PLEASE update your email address and U.S. postal mailing address through our family reunion website (listed above). My primary means of communication with our 200+ family members will be electronic (via text, email, or our website) or you can text me your contact information as well at 816-944-9300 (also listed below). This letter outlines the addendum to our 2025 James Richard Family Reunion. The agenda for our 3-day weekend is as follows:

Friday, we will have our Family Meet & Greet at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel Conference Room. Saturday, we will have a free day with the availability of the African American Museum for individuals wanting to escape the heat and humidity. We will have a Bounce House available for the kids and light food. Saturday evening, we will be entertained with live music from Uncle Wayne and The Hithm & Bluez Band at the African American Museum. Our cousin Ed Young plays in this band. Please wear black with accents of red.

We are asking each household to send $200.00 (2 or more people) or $75.00 for anyone coming by him/herself to offset the cost of our food at our Friday Meet & Greet, Saturday light food and Bounce House, Saturday evening food at our Family Dinner & Family Dance, African American Museum all day rental and our music DJ. We need your Family Reunion money by Tuesday, July 1, 2025 to start purchasing food items and accessories. Hotel accommodations have been secured at the Wingate by Wyndham West Monroe. Our family reunion group rate for a King Bed is $99.00/night (plus tax). Double Queen Bed and King Bed Suite are both $109.00/night (plus tax). All rooms include a free Hot breakfast, a kitchen, and a stove. King Bed Suite comes with a sofa bed. Prices are guaranteed until Tuesday, July 1, 2025 (no exceptions). Please call the hotel directly at 318-387-7395. Advise Wingate by Wyndham West Monroe you are with the James Richard Family Reunion. Everyone is responsible for making hotel reservations for themselves.
